Henry Kaplan (1918–1984)
An American radiologist who pioneered the use of extended field radiation to treat Hodgkin’s disease. Kaplan launched serial and comprehensive clinical trials using X-rays, resulting in the cure of localized Hodgkin’s disease by the mid-1960s.
